This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. Here’s a great brass piece for anybody looking to bolster their collection with a unique addition. With its vibrant paint finish and great manufacturing, this brass CPR 4-6-2 Steam Locomotive/Tender brings plenty of life and fun to any collection. The decorative bell is disconnected from the locomotive but included in the box. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of this item. The overall appearance of these items may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. This item has been inspected by our repair shop. Introduced in its prototype form in the late 19th century, the 4-6-2 would take the world by storm at the turn of the 20th century, being seen as one of the biggest innovation in the history of locomotives -- the 4-6-2 would quickly finds its place in rail-yards across the world. Heralded for its ability to haul passengers, the 4-6-2 was a versatile model hauling freight and coal as well, with tank variants being introduced later during the 20th century. Traveling at speeds upwards of 100mph the 4-6-2 was featured on rail-ways ranging from Argentina to Egypt, and all the way to the far East in China! Now's your chance to add some history to your collection. Overall condition is Excellent.
