Item Description:
Very striking necklace with a unique design. This necklace does up from the front. with a rivet snap button. All the rhinestones are clear and bright. Around the neck is a chain of baguettes which leads to the beautiful feather design at the front. These sweeping feathers have been set with pave rhinestones and baguettes. The metal is rhodium plated. It is signed on the back with the numbers 5850 and what looks like Avon in script for Avon of Belleville. It is difficult to make out as the signature as it looks like when was deliberately scratched out? Hard to say, but you can see a few letters. That combined with the design, the quality and the number assigned leads me to believe it is Avon of Belleville. It is excellent condition. Looks never worn. It would be a great addition to your collection of vintage costume jewelry.
