Bob Gagliano threw for one touchdown and Eddie Murray added two field goals as the Detroit Lions defeated the Cleveland Browns 13-10 at the Silverdome on Thankgiving Day. With the score tied at three, Gagliano hit Richard Johnson for a 27 yard touchdown. Gagaliano was 9 of 19 for 143 yards. Rookie sensation Barry Sanders ran for a game high 145 yards on 28 carries, it was the fourth time he ran for over 100 yards this season. For the Browns, Barry Redden scored on a 38 yard run. Bernie Kosar finished 28 of 38 for 296 yards. He connected with nine different receivers.
