Antique 1910's Solid 9k Rose & Yellow GOLD PEARL STAR SHIELD RING Sz O

• DESCRIPTION: This assemblage was originally crafted around the 1910's and started as a solid 9k rose gold wedding band, then added the yellow gold star shield disc setting at a slightly later date. It features a natural half pearl, bead set in the centre of an eight pointed double star motif in a raised disc setting. It probably started out as a pair of earrings and came to be a finger ring as the result of losing the other earring. Made by A.J. Long Jewellers of Melbourne (1914 to 1960)

• DETAILS: Setting is 13.7 mm in diameter and 4.6 mm proud. The band is 3.0 mm wide all the way around and 1.8 mm thick. The half pearl is 2.3 mm and slightly off-round. Total weight is 4.2 grams. #50488[6]0124
