OCTORARA (1910)

She was built at Wyandotte, Michigan by Detroit Shipbuilding Co and launched Dec. 11, 1909. She was a 361' LOA, 340' LBP, 45' beam, 28' depth. Three decks, coat-fired boilers, quadruple expansion engines, 2500 HP. Built for the Erie & Western Transportation Co., also known as Anchor Line.

Fleet sold Feb 22, 1916 to Great Lakes Transit Corp., Buffalo, NY. 

Retired after the 1936 season and laid up at Buffalo, NY. Sold in 1940 to Sand Products Corp., Milwaukee, WI.
