This A5-sized greeting card features a detailed hand drawn illustration of Mephistopheles at Arpajon, from George Morgan.

Produced from 350 gsm card, it will be supplied together with a quality white envelope.

Mephistopheles Centenary 1924 - 2024.

The FIAT Mephistopheles was developed using its original 1908 FIAT SB4 chain drive chassis which in 1923 was lengthened and fitted with a modified six cylinder water cooled 21,714cc FIAT  A 12 bis aviation engine developing approximately 300hp. Driven by its constructor E.A.D. Eldridge with riding mechanic D.R.W. Gedge it broke several World Records at Arpajon near Paris on July 12th 1924 and this card has been created specially to commemorate this world record breaking occasion. This was the last time the Land Speed Record was broken on a public road and a riding mechanic carried. Mephistopheles is displayed at the Centro Storico FIAT Turin, Italy.
