Dear Violin Lovers and Collectors 

Help please us to save this beautiful violin!

I am offering this very old 4/4 violin from my private collection. 

Estimated age: 100-120 years

The former owner (a piano music teacher) inherited this violin from his grandfather. He wanted to learn to play this violin himself, but the violin was lying in his house and just changed its place of storage. He finally tried to restore it in 2000, but never started playing it. In my opinion, this very old instrument needs to be restored again, especially the cracks and incipient cracks on the top and bottom board. The sound is very good in my opinion. The former owner (a teacher) really wanted a musician to start playing the instrument again after his grandfather and he loved it. We are very interested in this sale. We have one more violin from this teacher with a similar history - Nr. 404.
