1960s Vietnam-Era Randall Made Knife - model 7-5 Stainless with Micarta Handle

This hand made knife has seen some action.

I am selling it without any attempt to clean it up in any way, just as it was bequeathed to me many years ago.

The sheath is original and matches the knife, even though it has been added to [see pics]

Does not include the sharpening stone.

Dating this Knife: after looking through many on-line discussions, eBay listings, and even corresponding with Jason Randall in Orlando, I have dated this knife between 1966 and 1973.
Look closely at the pics:
1. the "O" in Orlando does not line up with the "R" in Randall but is offset.
2. Florida is abbreviated 'FLA' rather than the later "FL"
3. The comma after Orlando is large - almost half the size of the other letters.
4. The "S" for stainless is next to the other stamping, rather than further towards the center of the blade.

Extras: according to Randall,"The stainless steel, micarta, and wrist thong hole were all chargeable options."
The basic model would have had "leather washers and a duralumin butt cap."

So, if you always wanted a Randall-Made knife, here's your chance.

Thanks for looking. Have a safe and peaceful day.
