“Church and Sun” acrylic on board, signed and dated, the date is difficult to decipher but looks like 1990 Painting is in good original condition and measures 24cms x 35.5cms  mounted floated on painted board with subframe measuring 54cms x 64cms- the float mount could do with a fresh coat of paint. Robert Sadler (1909-2021) Painter. Born Newmarket. Following a distinguished career in the RAF both before during and after the War and achieving rank of Group Captain. Sadler attended Heatherley’s School of Art and Cambridge Technical College he exhibited regularly and widely from 1955 until 2001. Notably at Heffers Gallery, Cambridge 1955, 1958 and 1964. New Vision Art Centre 1957. Kings Street Gallery, Cambridge 1959 and 1960. London Group, 1962. In 1964 he moved to a purpose built studio in Aldeburgh and had annual exhibitions at the studio 1965-2001.
