“Xmas Parade” (1960-61) 8mm Film Home Movie, NC, Floats, Beauty Queens, Presents

Film opens at the Christmas parade featuring elaborate floats, beauty queens and southern belles of North Carolina. Film features two Christmas parades, 1960 and 1961, as well as two family Christmases with presents and great 60s decor. Film ends with snowy scenes and kids sledding down a long road in front of the house. Slice of the holidays in NC.

FILM CONDITION:

The film appears to be in very good condition, ran smoothly and has no detectable vinegar syndrome. There is some streaking on one section and the footage of one parade is quite light.
