This long wool German Military Overcoat has black epaulets and pebble buttons on the double breasted front. The smaller buttons on the shoulders are smooth. It is fully lined as you can see in the pictures. The brown wool is not quite as dark as it appears in the pictures due to lighting.
At one time the coat had a Western Costume Company label, but it was cut out - which is what usually happened when it was worn by a major name actor! I am showing a picture of where it was removed. It does have a Western Costume Company stamp.
There are some small moth holes, but please remember - 'KELLY'S HEROES' 'THE LONGEST DAY' 'WHERE EAGLES DARE' and many other WWII movies, were from the 1960's & 70's with a few from the 1950s!
The coat is tagged a size 40
