Set of 2 Vintage Yacht Oil Lamp Brass Gimbals with oil burning lamps

appears to be a Unicorn riding a mystical winged dragon fish or seas serpent

They would be mounted to a vertical wall.

These are beautiful antiques, unknown age.

This type of brass gimbal allows you to mount an oil lamp securely to the bulkhead of the boat so that no matter how rough the seas are they will swing freely and remain upright.
