From an estate of a GI in the Pacific theater, a 4" x 5" photograph of worship services aboard a large battleship or aircraft carrier. A large, packed-in crowd of sailors, many of them shirtless, are either singing a hymn or reading from the Bible. Two chaplains officiate and an organ player provides accompaniment. The extremely well attended service has the feel of a group of men who are heading into battle.

Good condition as shown. Great resolution. The photo is on Velox paper.
