This is a 16" doll marked 'Germany Mabel' on her neck.  Her body is leather to halfway down her thighs, then the rest of the way is cloth.  The leather is dirty and stained otherwise in good condition except at the neck and shoulders.  She has leather 'hinges' on her back and legs so she can bend a bit.  The arms need some work reattaching them to the body, but her hands are not broken at all.  Her head is in very nice condition save for the wig.  Her makeup is still good and she has her mouth open a bit showing teeth.  She has a dimple on her chin.  Her eyes are fixed, not sleepy.  The wig is a total loss, it needs to be replaced. 

A nice project doll, she could be a beauty again.
