The solid wood frame of the chair including the arms, apron, crown, and legs feature hand carved details such as cabochons on the arms and legs, curved edges, scallop centered scrollwork on the apron, and floral centered arched crown. Made with no visible nails, fasteners, or dowels, this is believed to be the product Mortise-And-Tenon joinery.

Features a beautiful French damask tapestry chenille brocade upholstery fabric in red and gold, with piped edges. The seatback is upholstered on both the front side and back in the framing. The firm cushioned seat bottom is upholstered with an antique webbing bottom. The arms are also upholstered at the elbow rest.
