This antique SET OF 5 plated sash/window recessed lifts are also perfect for POCKET DOOR HANDLES, AND SLIDING CABINET COMPARTMENT DOORS. Each measures approximately 3 1/16” long and 1 7/16” high. The depth of the casting appears to be approx. 1 9/16”.
The horizontal lifts feature rounded corners and oval centers, with uncleaned front surfaces that add to their authentic charm. They are aged original brass/bronze color and are magnet attracting metal composition.
The lifts are an antique original based on the PATD OCT 3 1871 patent date on backs and DESIGNS, with CAST FRONTS plus hand-STIPPLED & CROSSHATCHED decorated interior backs.
These 5 handles have not been cleaned or polished. Outer surfaces appear to be brass ( but plated).
These were made by an unidentified maker and are salvaged from a historical mid to late 1800’s home in Chicago suburbs- (removed from windows and sliding doors about 25 years ago). Don't miss your chance to own a piece of history with these beautiful antique lifts/ handles.
