Racing Champions Brickyard 400 Nascar Inaugural Race 1994 1/64 Scale Diecast Car

The Indianapolis 500 marked its 78th running on May 29th, 1994. Since 1911 it has been scheduled for the Memorial Day holiday each year except during the two World Wars (1918-18, 1942-45). Until 1994, the "500" was the only annual race at the speedway. A new tradition  began with the INAUGURAL BRICKYARD 400 for NASCAR Winston Cup stock cars on Saturday,  August 6th 1994.
