A striking, figural, impressive and exceptional Empire or Napoleon style french clock made by Etienne Lenoir in Paris, France. Fabulous and extremely rare design with a porcelain hand painted vase on top. Highly detailed Satyr face handles. Exquisite, ornate, intricate and incredibly decorated ormolu case with three hand painted porcelain panels with flowers and Putti scenes (highly and finely detailed scenes). It has blemish on dial near IIII and and a small hairline on vase, otherwise in very good condition (see two last pictures). It has a eight days movement and striking funcion (hour and half hour) in perfect working order. Overall original condition is good with signals of use consistent with age, detail on dial and small hairline on vase. As i explained, the movement is in running order with the strikework functioning as it should when tested (it was serviced, oiled and keeped time). We cannot however guarantee the movement or any mechanical operation following shipping and therefore recommend getting it overhauled by an expert to adjust it. A really magnificent, colorful, imposing and impressive clock for demanding collectors.  Measures are 34.5 centimeters (height) X 15 centimeters (wide) X 15 centimeters (depth).
