This is an antique and very collectable "Merku 120" fountain pen made in hard rubber with a wonderful pattern on cap and barrel. The pen has Warranted Nº0 flexible 14k solid gold nib. It works with safety filler system. The retractable mechanism is in working conditions and the cork needs to be replaced. It comes with an antique jewelry case, which has some wearing away due to the time passed.
This is a pen, made by the company Nielsen, working about 8 kilometers away from the Montblanc factory in Hamburg. Many of their pens were made very similar to the Montblanc pens, under their main brand Merkurit. This is a very interesting piece to have on your collection! It was made in Germany.
