Gorgeous green tinted glass with bubbles of a variety of sizes.  The marble is about 5.75 inches in diameter.  Not sure on the age. There is a spot near the bottom where it looks like it may have been impacted and it created an internal crack.  It is not easily noticeable unless you pick it up but it is there. I have seen similar larger ones in the past and they are often nicked and chipped from being handled, but this only has the mark described above other than that it is in beautiful condition.  One side of the marble is tinted with a green color which gives it a dramatic back drop. It has a flat spot so you can rest it on a flat surface. It looks like a blue green in the pics, but it is more of a kelly or darker green. The stand is solid brass, with lions heads, on fluted like columns.  There is a spot cleaned on the stand, on the bottom, to show the brass, but I think it looks better oxidized.  The chains are brass as well. The marble is about 11 pounds by itself.  There is also a small round rug that was made specifically for it.
