This is an intarsio base produced in the 1960s by "Ercole Barovier," who founded the Murano Glass Studio "Barovier      & Toso" in 1925 and served as its artistic director for about 50 years.

The rounded form is composed of cobalt and emerald green triangles using the inlaying technique that is                          representative of Mr. Barovier's work.
The transparent patterns fold over to create various geometric views.

    1) There are no signs of having been used with water and no chalky stains or dullness.

    2) There is one extremely thin scratch slightly below the center of the body. (9th photo)
The scratch is too thin to be captured in the image, but please check it.

     3) There is a few millimeters of air bubbles on the shoulder. (10th photo)

There are some other minor scratches around the mouth and the ground of the base that are hard to see even if you       look closely (could not be captured in the picture), but in general, we consider the piece to be in very good condition.
