Note: This is an entirely manual lens. This means there is no autofocus and all focusing must be done by hand. The aperture of the lens is also fixed, meaning it can not be changed. 

This lens is a basic, starter lens. It does not take the most high quality photos but it is a good cheap starter lens to get into photography. 

I used this lens for a few months and took some good pictures on it before I upgraded to a Sigma 120-400mm. This lens will allow you to get into the realm of telephoto lenses without breaking the bank
