On offer is this imposing pair of large and heavy antique sterling silver & cut crystal inkwells.
Each has a hobnail cut base with facted and grooves cut top which serve as a pen/quill rest. With sterling silver collar and cap, which has been monogrammed 'HR'. Both also come with liner/insert for the inkwell should you not wish to put as much ink in.
The sterling silver is hallmarked: L&S for Levi & Salaman, Birmingham, Sterling, 1921 (W) on the collar and the underside of the lid carries the lion passant for sterling and the date letter 1921 (W).
Each measures: 11.8cm x 12cm x 7.8cm. Combined raw unpackaged weight of 2.7kg.
In good antique condition. There is a minor dent on one of the lids otherwise beautiful condition for age. Rare to still find the pair together. Quality pieces. Please consider photos.
