I am offering a large folio entitled "The American Soldier." This was Series I from a series of paintings of The American Soldier commissioned by the Office of the Chief of Military History, Department of the Army as part of the Army Historical Program, 1964. These are a series of 10 full-color reproductions that depict the American Fighting Man at various periods in our history (1781-1855). This is Series 1. NO EFFORT HAS BEEN SPARED TO INSURE THAT UNIFORMS, ARMS, AND EQUIPMENT ARE PORTRAYED WITH UTMOST ACCURACY. This first series of 10 prints is bound into a folio that measures 11 1/4 X 11.
