David Hill (1914-1977) American Artist. Lived and worked in New York, 1942-1947 then moved to Paris. In 1957 he pooled resources with his partner Canadian Artist Joseph Plaskett and they purchased a medieval house at 2, Rue Pecquay in the Marais district of Paris. David was both an exhibiting Artist and Illustrator contributing illustrations to leading publications in France and United States. Cary Grant was one of his patrons. Parties Hill and Plaskett hosted were legendary apparently!
