Malcolm Gray Silver St.Magnus Cross Brooch

A solid silver St.Magnus cross brooch by Ortak founder Malcolm Gray; the design is based on ancient stone carvings found in St.Magnus Cathedral in Kirkwall, Orkney. Brooch is fully hallmarked to the reverse, indicating it was assayed for silver at Birmingham, in 1975 by Malcolm Gray. Measures approx. 35mm in diameter and is secured with a roll-over safety clasp. In good unpolished vintage condition with minimal signs of wear commensurate with age and use and presented as found, in an old H.Samuel gift box.
