Early American Art Deco ceiling light fixture, chandelier c. 1930’s - 1940’s. Iconic among the molded bowl type chandeliers. Recognized in the antique lighting world as the Petal shade, or Sunflower shade. Stunning finish in Rose/ very light pink & clear. Produced for the finest homes during, and after the depression. Art Deco, (Modern Art). Classic, period correct Art Deco brilliance. Molded depression glass. The only 3 chain bowl produced from the Petal shade line. The light fixture displays beautifully matching glass canopy and bulb skirt. Meticulously restored with a new porcelain socket & wiring. All rusted fittings have been replaced. No cracks, or major chips. Overall, outstanding condition. This is a very old, beautifully refurbished piece of lighting history. All mounting hardware included, ready to display in your home.
