Restored Cameron MD70 drill press in excellent condition. The Cameron MD 70 is the Predecessor to Cameron 704 but offers mainly of the same features.

Spindle runout measured at the mounting taper at time of this sale is less than 5 microns.
Room to add an XY table or vise.
Max distance from chuck to table to 125mm, (5 inchs)

During Resoration I completely the following:
- rewired it motor, switch, and plug with modern wiring,
- replaced motor brushes with new
- Trued spindle cartridge. TIR < 5 microns
- Replaced oil felt on upper and lower bearing.
- Replace Spring tensioner in rack and pinion.
- Fitted new drive pulley belt
- Complete disassembly, ultrasonically cleaned all parts
- Repainted with 2k urethane RAL7031
- reground and hand scrapped table for excpetional flatness when mounting an XY or rotary table.
- Made Special Cameron MD70 badge engraved in fine silver and enamelled. (original badge comes with sale)
