Antique German Schuco miniature teddy bear, charming yellow/honey mohair jointed bear, glass eyes, vintage shabby old bear, dolls best friend Antique German vintage miniature yellow mohair teddy bear, made in pre - war by the famous Schuco toy manufacturers in their line of the so called ‘Piccolo Bears’. Mini bear is made of short yellow mohair & hard stuffed with wood wool and even his original ribbon survived. He has an embroidered nose, glass eyes & a pointy snout. His head is not jointed; his arms & legs are jointed with wire. He is very well manufactured, obviously a bear of high quality & highly collectible & in quite good vintage condition considering his age! His mohair is in lovely condition & he has one tiny hole at the back of the head visible only after careful inspection/check last photo please/ may need reparations on his seam,or just leave it,filling is holding in,not falling out after all it is not too noticible!But if you wish couple stitches will do it proud again.. To be honest in reality he looks better and cleaner then in photos. Schuco Bear measures 12 cm inches tall . He cannot stand on his own as designed, and holds his pose perfectly when sitting. He is a lovely shabby old bear, clean & a charming friendly character! Teddy makes a fine addition to every toy collection, for all teddy bear & shabby chic vintage lovers a must have!
