Gibson S-1 Electric Guitar  Possible From Japan / Used

Description

Made in 1976 from the serial number.
The guitar is quite unique with transparent original single-coil pickups, a Flying V-style bolt-on neck, and a 4-way rotary switch. The toggle switch switches to the rear pickup and rotary switch control. The rotary switch allows you to switch between four different combinations: front + center, center + rear, front + center + rear, and front + rear.

Condition.
Fret remaining: about 6 minutes
Nut remaining: about 6 minutes
Neck condition: generally straight
Trans-rod: room left in both directions
String height on 12f: about 2mm on the 6th string side, about 1.5mm on the 1st string side
Electrical System: Degrease on toggle switch.

Rust inside the toggle switch makes noise when switching. The rear pickup screw has been replaced with a flat head screw, and the screw on one side of the front pickup is longer than the other and seems to be non-genuine.
The mounting screw hole of the rear pickup is damaged and has been replaced with a nut. There is a varnish-like coating on the fingerboard after the 12th fret.
The frets are a little low and worn. There are scratches, stains, metal parts are dull and rusty, etc., but the playing condition is good.
