This copy of the magazine comes from a shelf in Bukowski's writing room. In November, 2017 I met with Linda Bukowski to talk about a job archiving and managing Bukowski's papers. During that visit she took me into Bukowski's writing room and after we were in there for a while she pulled a few things from the shelf and the closet and gave them to me. This copy of Northwest Extra is one of those things. It's not a particularly valuable magazine, but when are you going to get another chance to own something from Bukowski's writing room?
