Rare Stunning pair, in a gorgeous piece of teakwood. Adult and baby elephant.

As indicated by our staff arts and antiques expert/appraiser, this is a 1970s vintage carving by a talented but unknown artist who showered this piece in attention to detail.

Size: 11” Tall 15.5” Long x 8” Wide.

Carved in Thailand, these elephants are a national symbol of good luck, wisdom, strength, and longevity.

This piece has has some slight restoration. Several tusks were recreated and the tip of the trunk was reattached after a mishap. It is solid, heavy, gorgeous, and one of a kind - waiting for a new home in a place of prominent display.
