Richwood Gypsy Jazz guitar inspired by the classic Selmer Maccaferri guitars of the 1930's and 40's as used by Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club De France

 This guitar model gained popularity from the initiator of European jazz, Django Reinhardt, who caused a stir in the early 20th century as his virtuous technique was incomparable. Especially because of the fact that he could use only two fingers of the left hand in an accident.

The Maccaferri design was sold by Selmer and the RM-70-NT is the later version with the 'petite bouche', the oval smaller sound hole. Thanks to the body shape and the special bridge in combination with the tailpiece, the guitar produces a particularly powerful tone when you act with a strong stop, like Django.
