You are viewing a hard to find iconic Banana Republic Leather Bomber Jacket from the early 1980's, before Banana Republic was sold to The Gap.  The jacket is a quality piece that retailed for $239 in the early 1980's.  I found an old ad that features the jacket, and this is how they described it:

"Leather Army Air Corps Jacket.  Originally styled in the early 1940's, worn by Flying Tigers in China and Europe's Mustang and Thunderbolt pilots.  Crafted from first quality matched cowhides to the actual Army Air Corps specs.  Every detail from the original is here: snap down collar, grommets under the arms, epaulets, side entry cargo pockets, inside pocket, zipper guard, brass zipper.  It is so true to its inspiration that we've even added one final dimension that takes it all the way-a few years of 'wear' to the otherwise new leather.  A tough cockpit jacket that weighs little for all the warmth and amenity it provides. $239."

The jacket is a size 40 (Medium).  Measurements are:
Collar to bottom length-26.5"
Armpit to armpit-22"
Shoulder to cuff-25"
****Please be aware of your size before ordering, as I do not accept returns.  This item is vintage with an 80's fit, which is more boxy and may be slightly shorter than a modern bomber jacket.

The jacket is in very good condition.  There is no soiling, stains, bad odors, etc.  It is made of genuine leather that was intentionally aged. The zipper and snaps have all been tested and work properly.   One of the knit cuffs has a small rip in it.  It is mostly on the inside of the cuff, so it is not that noticeable.  The interior breast pocket has been stretched out of shape. There is a small hole in the lining near the pocket.  The back of the collar has a few cracks in the leather along the fold line.  Pictures of flaws are included at the end of the photos.
