A handsome antique, sterling silver and glass hip flask.

Victorian era this substantial hip flask is made from glass with a sterling silver bayonet cap, Cork lined.

It has a sleek sterling silver beaker base, this can be removed to be used as a beaker and still has some much of the original gilt lining.

The front of the beaker is monogrammed with IA or IM but could work for the opposite variations too.

The glass has a slightly mottled textured feel to the top half of the flask, it may have possibly been covered with leather previously.

This hip flask is fully hallmarked for sterling silver, London assay office, 1879, Brockwell and Son.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age, glass mottled.
