This is a vintage primitive rustic hand-carved spoon. I purchased it in southern Indiana but don't know anything else about its history. It is darkly stained and scratched from use and age. The outside bowl of the spoon has a crack in it but the hard wood has maintained its shape and strength.
It's 22" long and the spoon bowl is 4" x 4". It weighs 9.4 oz.
I've had this hanging on my fireplace for the past 30 years and it makes a handsome display piece.

I do not clean, paint or otherwise change the patina of a vintage item
as it could negatively affect its value…I leave it up to the buyer to
decide how they want to display it.
