This brooch is amazing. I have become obsessed with Mexican silver. I cannot find any information on the individual who had the registration number J-48. The “T” does reveal it was made in Taxco. There are chunky gemstones on a bar-type setting, Malachite, 2 Howlite, Amethyst, and Turquoise. The piece weighs 11.4 grams, and it is 2 inches head to tail. There is healthy patina on the piece, which I will leave, unless you reach out to me, and I will happily polish it for you.
