This hardback book (small 8vo (130 x 190mm)) is a first edition published in 1949 by Cassell. The book is being offered for sale in an good condition for its age. The book comes with its original non-price-clipped dustwrapper, which is in an OK overall condition. Specifically there is nibbling and rub to the dustwrapper edges and top/bottom of the spine. The dustwrapper now comes protected by a removable cellophane cover. The book’s green cloth boards are in a good condition, with some minor rub to their horizontal edges. Internally, the pages remain in a good, undamaged condition. There are a few fox spots associated with the inner faces of the front and rear boards There is small ink inscription located at the top edge of the first blank page.
