Single elongated CRYSTAL of Siberian Blue Quartz, ***Laboratory grown***. This is the last medium blue crystal of Siberian Blue that I have except for very large crystal up for sale. This is QUARTZ or Silicon dioxide in composition, with inclusions of Cobalt added to create the blue color. There is no natural Quartz this color on Earth! Most smaller crystals of this material available are lighter blue. Siberian Blue Quartz ranges from a medium blue like this crystal to a dark cobalt blue. All the valuable Siberian Blue Quartz Crystal jewelry you see online is created by faceting pieces of laboratory grown Siberian Blue Quartz. This crystal is commonly called Siberian Blue Quartz, but I have been told that it was never made in Siberia, by a Russian Mineralogist, who told me it was made during the 1980's.

There are natural crystal growth markings on the surface of this crystal called growth striations. This is very clear, translucent, without inclusions and what is termed as FACET GRADE. There is a tiny few millimeter layer of pure clear quartz down the center of the crystal lengthwise that is part of the original seed growth. A colorless quartz plate was suspended by a wire in the flux or hot solution of Silicon dioxide with Cobalt. The seed crystal(few millimeter clear area) is visible when viewed from the side. This material was originally created for the metaphysical marketplace in an effort to make a PURE Quartz with the color that would stimulate the Third Eye Chakra to increase psychic abilities.

***This single Siberian light Blue Quartz Crystal MEASURES 3 1/3 inches long or tall X maximum of 1 1/8 inches wide X over 7/8 inch thick OR 79 millimeters long X 29 mm X 23 mm. It WEIGHS 5.4 ounces OR 151.6 grams OR 758 carats. The clear pure Quartz area is a couple millimeters wide in the center of crystal, and this is the seed quartz crystal used to begin the growth process(you can see the double lines of edges of seed crystal in a PHOTO the small metal horseshoe shape hook that held the seed crystal in hot quartz growth solution). *Two tiny fractures, 3 mm can be seen on side edges, one at one end, one at other end, caddy corner from each other, and one can be seen in one PHOTO, top left edge, they truly are not significant on this rare shape and deeper color crystal, as there may be no more like this to be found.* Please see VIDEO and all ELEVEN photos! Crystal arrives in white organza drawstring pouch with golden color stars and moons. Includes FREE insured Priority Mail in the USA! International buyer may message me for Priority Mail international quote. METAPHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF SIBERIAN BLUE QUARTZ

Major metaphysical properties of Siberian Blue Quartz include Wisdom,
Clairvoyance, Astral Projection, Prophecy, Intuition and Self Awareness

Siberian Blue Quartz can help to strengthen the connection between our Throat and Third Eye Chakra which helps to facilitate eloquent communication from an elevated perspective. When the Third Eye is fully activated, our communication infuses with the wisdom and love of our Higher Self. The elemental energy of this stone evokes psychic awakening, and it can be of assistance to those who wish to develop the powers of clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, prophecy, psychokinesis, mediumship, and interdimensional communication. Because of this, it is said to also provide the wearer with increased access to the Akashic Records, our Universal Storehouse of Knowledge.

This stone is HIGHLY revered for its energetic properties. It is grown using a hydrothermal technique in a high-temperature autoclave from a natural seed crystal. The laboratory method for producing Quartz crystals mimics Nature's way of growing Quartz crystals, using high temperature and high-pressure water solutions. In a bit of modern-day alchemy, scientists add mineral impurities to the alkaline solution (often Sodium Hydroxide) that feeds the crystal's growth in the autoclave. Cobalt is added to the liquid mixture that feeds the seed crystal's growth and imparts an amazing deep blue coloration to the Quartz crystal. It’s a great healing stone, particularly for those people who are seeking solitude, quiet, and peace. It helps the seeker to find enlightenment through higher knowledge and wisdom and helps spiritually sensitive beings like Star Children to adjust and become comfortable on planet earth. This stone is quite programmable and can be used to enhance psychic abilities. It can also assist people psychically in looking for lost people or objects. Sleeping with this stone in such matters can bring forth enlightening dreams and visions which can help to guide a person in their quest.

This stone is great for people who work on mind or sight-related pursuits. These include people involved in science, mathematics, public speaking, creative writing, teaching, and acting. It also helps people who want to undergo past life regression or communicate with their spirit guides.

Most psychics and learned individuals believe that despite being a laboratory-made stone, Siberian Blue Quartz has a lot of energy. This stone has a great amount of Blue Ray which is not found in any other kind of stone. Siberian Blue Quartz is a joint effort of man and nature. This stone has a flawless nature and does not have any impurities. This helps in a stabilized form of rotation in the molecules and aids in better transmission and circulation of energy in the crystal. Since it has Quartz in it, this stone is a great amplifier, carrier and helps in focusing all the energies of the Quartz. This stone is a great combination of serenity, beauty, and purity. It corresponds to the Throat and Third Eye Chakra and helps in enhancing intuition, communication, clairvoyance, detachment, and inner vision.

With the help of this stone, a person can overcome self-limiting beliefs and enter the world of endless possibilities. It also aids in reducing tension and all kinds of stress and helps in detaching from mundane matters and lower emotions in life. This stone helps in enhancing the flow of communication and helps a person to see the bigger picture and removes all kinds of stress and confusion resulting from the lack of knowledge.

HISTORY OF LABORATORY GROWN CRYSTALS IN USSR

Beginning in the 50's, USSR was traditionally a leader in the production of these materials because of their extensive use in Military and Space Industries. The Soviet Government contributed generously to the scientific projects in this field. Consequently, the Institutes of the USSR Academy of Science and secret Scientific Military Laboratories were involved with this work. The largest Soviet piezo-quartz locality was in the Ukraine. Synthetic quartz gradually forced the natural quartz out of the industry. This happened because of the increase in price which came from increased depth of mining. The high cost of natural quartz also came from the cost which was incurred from the restoration of the damaged land after the mining. In fact the quality of the synthetic quartz completely satisfied and continues to satisfy the needs of the industry(faceting and crystal healing). At the beginning of the 80's, the mining of quartz in this locality was halted. Similarly, the mining cost now continues to rise dramatically through the whole World because of the increasing depths of mining and environmental costs.

This Siberian Blue was originally natural quartz, mined in the Ural Mountains, ground to dust, and dissolved in an acid solution in a titanium autoclave 36 inches across and 18 feet in length. Non-radioactive cobalt was added, the seed crystals were lowered, the tubes were sealed and heated to 2200° for three months, then allowed to cool for two weeks. This is laboratory grade material; the Soviets never saw it as it is used today. It is of a far superior quality and darker richer color than anything on the market today. Siberian shamans felt Siberian Blue had very specific healing properties and began using it in their ritual ceremonies, and this has spread to shamanic and spiritual communities all over the world.

Name: Quartz has been known and appreciated since pre-historic times. The most ancient name known is recorded by Theophrastus in about 300-325 BCE, κρύσταλλος or kristallos. The varietal names, rock crystal and bergcrystal, preserve the ancient usage. The root words κρύοσ signifying ice cold and στέλλειυ to contract (or solidify) suggest the ancient belief that kristallos was permanently solidified ice.

The earliest printed use of "querz" was anonymously published in 1505, but attributed to a physician in Freiberg, Germany, Ulrich Rülein von Kalbe (a.k.a. Rülein von Calw, 1527). Agricola used the spelling "quarzum" (Agricola 1530) as well as "querze", but Agricola also referred to "crystallum", "silicum", "silex", and silice". Tomkeieff (1941) suggested an etymology for quartz: "The Saxon miners called large veins - Gänge, and the small cross veins or stringers - Querklüfte. The name ore (Erz, Ertz) was applied to the metallic minerals, the gangue or to the vein material as a whole. In the Erzgebirge, silver ore is frequently found in small cross veins composed of silica. It may be that this ore was called by the Saxon miners 'Querkluftertz' or the cross-vein-ore. Such a clumsy word as 'Querkluftertz' could easily be condensed to 'Querertz' and then to 'Quertz', and eventually become 'Quarz' in German, 'quarzum' in Latin and 'quartz' in English." Tomkeieff (1941, q.v.) noted that "quarz", in its various spellings, was not used by other noted contemporary authors. "Quarz" was used in later literature referring to the Saxony mining district, but seldom elsewhere.
