This camera is about 5 years old and has worked great in my system for that time. The battery seems in good condition. When I decided to sell, I stopped it from charging (kept it plugged in and a smart plug topped it up every week) and it lasted a good 3 weeks watching my garden before it ran out of juice. How it works for you will depend on how busy the area is that it is watching. But as I say I had it plugged in and charged on a timer because it was high up and a pain to get the ladder out every month.
