Description

Up for Auction is a Vintage Mondaine leather compact. It is also called a double vanity since it has both rouge and loose powder compartments. This is a very art deco looking compact. It has been packed away for years, and now I am starting to sell this collection.

The front and backside of this compact are black leather framed in a brass edging. There I an art deco design done in the lower front area of the lid.
The compact opens easily by pressing the small tab in the front.
Upon opening the compact, the mirror is bevel edged and in fantastic condition!
The powder compartment is for loose powder, and the powder puff is missing. The name of this manufacturer is listed on the powder lid.
The rouge and puff are still wrapped in a cellophane covering which has a little tear in the upper left corner. Ther is a mint rouge puff with the name Raspberry on the top of the cellophane, to indicate the color of the rouge.
Having this rouge still intact is a miracle!
Case dimensions are roughly: 1.75 inches wide by 2.75 inches high.
