Circus Animal Stock Car

These cars were used by the circus to transport various animals,  horses,  elephant, and zebras.  These typically were place at the front of the train to prevent injury to the animals by coupler slack action.  In the past the circus had preforming horses and draft horses that might have separate cars.

Back in the 80's I walked into a video store (if you don't know what this was, ask your grandad) , I was looking for a movie for the night and came across The Greatest Show on Earth. I checked it out was amazed by the circus train wreck sequence.  Being in HO scale at the time I started buying anything circus I could find.  This was before Ebay so it was tough.  Anyway 40 years later I'm in N scale and still love that movie.  As a matter of fact a friend of mine who did Hollywood special effects including the Terminator series,  did a frame by frame analysis of the footage.  Obviously the models were much larger than N scale.  Since I can do 3-d design now  I've been doing a lot of circus models.  These are all printed and unpainted.  You can paint and decal for any circus you like most of these are based on Ringling Bros equipment.  I'll be adding more as time permits.  Some flash removal is required, Some models will require basic assembly.  Each listing is for one item unless otherwise specified.

.  These are a great starting point for super detailing or good 3 feet stand off models.  These are printed in multiple pieces.  They are easy to assemble.  The boys in the shop realized early on that these were going to need more weight so the devise a block that BB's (not included ) could be added to the block and glue it to the deck of the stock car.  There is also an rack for the ramp.  These will make a good starting point for more detailing or great 3 foot stand off models.   If you'll check the video these don't do bad on tight curves like on my home layout.   FREIGHT TRUCKS  NOT INCLUDED. (I recommend Micro-trains Bettendorf  Trucks 003 10 021, that's what I'm using.  Some minor drilling may required for the pins.    I've got new ones arriving every week.

These are 3 D prints that come unpainted (plastic colors may vary)  and may require some flash removal before painting.

These were built to fill the gaps on the sellers own N Scale layout.  Comments and questions always welcome.  I gladly combine shipping on N Scale models.  Buy multiples items and get them all shipped for the same price.  Be sure to check out my other auctions.  I have fire, military, police, circus and misc trucks for sale.
