These are very nice velvet pants. They fit like jeans but the dark black velvet makes the very dressy, and comfortable.

I have worn them once for Christmas.  I washed them in cold water, dried on no-heat, fluff cycle. They are easy care, comfortable pants. From a smoke-free environment.
