The body top is made of beautifully grained Flame Maple and the body back is made of African Mahogany, a combination that is familiar to LP-type guitars.
The neck is made of 5pc.Maple/Walnut with KTS Titanium Neck Reinforcement, which is a very strong material with excellent sustain!
This strength is the reason for the ultra-thin type unique to Ibanez.
Rosewood is used for the fingerboard, and binding is made of flame maple.
The inlay is a gorgeous Tree of Life inlay made of pearl, Avalon shell, and pearloid, which can be said to be the identity of j.custom.
The bridge is equipped with Ibanez's original Edge Zero, a 0-point system for highly accurate tuning stability.
Pickups are DiMarzio with HSH layout, Air Norton in the front, True Velvet in the center, and Tone Zone in the rear, the Golden Trio!
Controls are 1 volume, 1 tone, dropped into the body for improved playability, and the 5-way pickup selector has a halftone position with the humbucker side driven inside single coil for a beautiful tone when clean sounding.
The neck is in good condition. The frets are slightly dented, but there is enough left.
There are dents on the top edge of the body, paint chips on the back edge of the body, and other scratches, dents, dull parts, and rust.
The pegs have been replaced with SG381-MGT locking pegs for speedy string changes!
This model is equipped with EDGE ZERO, which boasts amazing tuning stability, which is no longer available on the current j.custom!
