On offer is this signed antique Royal Doulton 'Sung' vase.
The identifiable red glaze of the flambe pieces took many years for Royal Doulton to master at the turn of the 20th century, where they first exhibited their flambe wares at the 1904 St Louis Exhibition.  The Chinese were believed to have discovered the method of achieving this glaze during the Ming dynasty (c1570-1620).
This piece is signed to the base  'Noke' for Charles Noke and 'FM' for Fred Moore.
Dark to bright red with mottled blue and greens.
Height of 14.3cm, diameter at the top of 3.2cm, across the widest approx 10.5cm.
In good antique condition - There is a little bit of pitting to the glaze around the top of the body before the neck, otherwise no issues I can see.  Please consider photos & video - please note that the white reflective marks visible are sunlight/camera flash.
