Antique Pair Of Neoclassical Style Bronze Table Lamps, Regency C1820, Rewired

Patinated bronze figure of a putti, sat atop a gilded bronze chair on a green marble base. The bronze castings are of a very high quality, hence why the Rothschild family purchased a pair for their family home in France.

B15 bulbs required.

Shades and bulbs are not included.

The wiring is fully new with braided gold cable.

These lamps were designed as candlesticks and have been converted to electric at some point in their past. The electrics can be easily removed if you wish to take them back to candlesticks.

This exact model of candlestick was sold at a Christie’s auction 12 years ago, coming from a home of the Rothschild family and sold for over €5,000, plus auctioneers fees of presumably at least 20%.
