Genuine VW OEM Air Cool 58 to 63, Beetle, Ghia, Dune Buggy, Brake Pedal Assembly P/N 113 798 900B. See VW Logo stamped/forged into parts. These pedals ( clutch & brake) are forged steel not a stamping. This package consists of a 311 721 109 Aluminum Pedal Bracket, a 113 721 757 Forged Brake Pedal, a 113 721 321 Forged Clutch Pedal,  a 111 721 305 Clutch Pedal Shaft (New), 113 721 163A Brake Pedal Return Spring (New), N124241 Lock Ring (New), N128341 Clutch Pedal Shaft Pin (New), 113 721 219A Master Cylinder Push Rod Pin and Retainer, Roller Accelerator Pedal Assembly. Also included  is a used Brake Pedal Return Spring, Clutch Pedal Shaft Pin and a (new extra) Lock Ring. The Bushings in the Aluminum Pedal Bracket were not replaced because there was virtually no slop/play when assembled.

Also please note that there was a crack on the counter bored side of of the aluminum pedal bracket (see picture) where the accelerator pedal is attached. This is not a problem as a bolt serves as the accelerator shaft axle and has only enough tension to to retain the nylock nut. It was most likely over over tightened at some point.

These particular parts had some rust on the pedal assembly so I disassembled them. The Aluminum Pedal Bracket was media blasted to clean it up. The Clutch Pedal and Brake Pedal were soaked in Evapo-Rust to remove and stop any further rust which also loosened paint. The balance of  paint was removed to 100% bare metal. The parts were then sprayed with Ospho to impart a rust resistant Iron Phosphate surface which is also a great primer. The parts were then given two coats of black semi gloss heat resistant engine paint. Some of the hardware that wasn’t replaced with new was also soaked in Evapo-Rust and also sprayed with Ospho to impart a rust resistant Iron Phosphate finish to impart a rust resistant finish. This assembly looks very good and is ready to install. Please see pictures for condition and also make sure the Brake Assembly fits your application as I do not accept returns.
