From 1846, an extremely rare guide to the coins of the Swiss Republic of Bern. The book was published privately, in paperback, in one small edition.

Shortly after publication this copy was nicely rebound in 3/4 leather with marbled boards. Both covers are nearly detached, and there is wear about the edges. The text is still firmly bound and remains in fine condition, no noteworthy flaw.

Hard to find in any condition, especially at this low price.

Measures just under 6"X 9", viii + 270 pages, illustrated with three plates, two of them fold-outs. The text is in German.
