Hampton Westminster Whittington Wall Clock  Quartz - Tested

Oak wood finish quartz battery (C) operated regulator wall clock.  

Chimes on the hour and quarters -15, 30, & 45 minute.

It has a volume control, chime selection, and on/off switch for am and pm.

2. HOW TO SET THE BATTERY
Be sure the "C" size battery is in the correct position with the position polarity in the upward position.
3. HOW TO SET THE TIME
Turn the hands setting disk (1) counterclockwise to set the time. The hands will move clockwise.
4. HOW TO CONTROL THE VOLUME

Every time the chime - melody selector switch (3) is shifted, the corresponding chime will start to ring.  You may adjust the chime volume by turning the volume control disk (4) toward max for louder or toward the "min" position for a softer level.

5. HOW TO SELECT A CHIME MELODY

Seiko Clock Manual 3Every time the chime selector switch is moved, the corresponding chime will start to ring. Select the chime you wish to hear. The left position is Westminster and the right is Whittington.
 

 

6. HOW TO SET THE NIGHT TIME SILENCER

The Night Time Silencer switch has 3 positions.
If you wish for the chime to play 24 hours, keep it in the left position.
 

If you wish for the chime to shutoff automatically every night at 11:00 PM and come back on at 5:45 AM, please proceed as follows:

a) set your clock to the current correct time if you have not already done so.
b) if the current time is during the AM hours, slide switch (2) to the middle position marked "AM"
c) if the current time is during the PM hours, slide switch (2) to the right position marked "PM"

The clock will now be silent by shutting off automatically every night at 11:00 PM and come back on at 5:45 AM. The shutoff period cannot be changed.
