The box measures 4.92 inches long, 3.74 inches wide, and 3.34 inches high. The house, "A. Giroux in Paris," was a renowned store of tablets and cabinetmaking in the 19th century. It was a significant reference for boxes, cases, and small decorative furniture, valued by the bourgeoisie and nobility. Charles X and Louis XVIII chose the gifts for Princess Louise and the Duke of Bordeaux.
